Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that emphasizes ground fighting and submission holds to control and defeat an opponent. You'll learn to control and submit opponents in a friendly and challenging environment.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids teaches children self-defense, discipline, and physical fitness through ground-fighting techniques and submission holds. Kids will build their confidence and develop a solid foundation in BJJ, regardless of their skill level.

Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu effective for women’s self-defense?

Yes, BJJ teaches techniques that rely on leverage and technique, making it highly effective for women in self-defense situations, regardless of size or strength.

What should I bring to my first class?

For your first class, wear comfortable athletic clothing. If you don’t have a gi, we can provide a loaner or help you purchase one.

Do I need to be in shape to start training?

No, Jiu-Jitsu is suitable for all fitness levels. Training will help you improve your strength, flexibility, and overall fitness.

Do you have changing rooms?

Yes, our facility includes clean changing rooms.

Will I need to sign a contract?

No, Adayama allows you to cancel your membership at any time.
